Ladies’ Night Out: A Throwback Slumber Party
May 7 | 6–9 PM | Downtown Saline
Break out the pjs, fuzzy socks, scrunchies, and butterfly clips — because this year’s Ladies’ Night Out is turning downtown Saline into the ultimate millenials' slumber party.
On Wednesday, May 7 from 6–9 PM, downtown businesses will be bringing back the best parts of growing up in the 90s and early 2000s. Think bubblegum pop music, colorful crafts, makeover stations, sleepover games, and that unmistakable slumber party energy.
Participating businesses are leaning into the theme and creating playful, throwback experiences throughout downtown. As you explore, you might find:
-
- friendship bracelet or bead critter crafting
-
- mini spa and self-care stations
-
- makeup touch-up bars
-
- chair massages with local wellness partners
-
- temporary tattoos
-
- truth-or-dare cards
-
- selfie stations with fun 90s props
-
- sleepover-style games and activities
- Basically: yes to crafts, yes to pop music, yes to nostalgia, and yes to feeling like kids again for the night.
As you visit participating businesses, you’ll collect a butterfly hair clip at every stop — because no proper 90s look is complete without one.
You can start at any participating business, and be sure to make your way to The 109 Cultural Exchange before the end of the night to enter the Ladies’ Night Out raffles, featuring gift cards and items from downtown businesses. Raffle tickets will be available during the event from volunteers around downtown and inside The 109.
The event is free to attend, but downtown shops and restaurants will be open and ready with plenty of reasons to treat yourself.
Grab your friends, wear your coziest pajamas or favorite throwback outfit if you’re feeling bold, and get ready for a night of laughter, shopping, creativity, and a whole lot of nostalgia.
