Downtown Saline Celebrates Its Veterans: Banner Program Continues in 2026

Each year, the streets of downtown Saline tell a story — one of service, sacrifice, and community pride. Our Veteran's Banner Program is one of the ways we keep that story alive, honoring the local women and men who have given so much in defense of our freedoms.

To ensure the program remains strong for years to come, we ask returning participants to contribute a $25 re-hanging fee — now in its third year. This modest fee goes directly toward the health of the program: replacing banners that have weathered during their time, maintaining and expanding our bracket infrastructure, and making room for new honorees to join our growing display.

Look for banners lining our streets in late Spring and early summer (just in time for Memorial Day) and again each fall (including Veteran's Day).
